Growing up in Miami, Florida, Anne's love of music started at a young age with a home filled with music. Her father serenaded the family with Irving Berlin songs and tunes from the heyday of Tin Pan Alley. She grew up performing, having voice and piano lessons with American composer and pianist Frances Tarboux. Anne co-founded the musical group Unicorn in college, which showcased acoustic jazz and bluegrass songs at local venues. Then, after a move to New York City, she started singing with the Metropolitan Ramblers. In 2014, Anne recorded her album of Great American Songbook favorites, "Where I Want to Be," with creative producer Pete McGuinness, drummer Scott Neumann, pianist Ted Kooshian, and bassist Andy Elau.
Anne's love of music has never slowed. She continues her vocal studies with instructor Michele Weir and resides in Bridgeport, Connecticut. She performs with her local choral group and recently sang with pianist Henry Hey at the 2022 Bridgeport Jazz Festival. And in November, she got everyone's toes tapping with a jazzy taste of well-known favorites and rarely-performed tunes at Cafe Basso.
Anne continues to perform at outdoor jazz festivals, intimate venues, and private events. She is accepting bookings for 2024.
